soloists and choirs. ‘Instrumental Works’ refers to music composed
without vocal parts. ‘Cantatas & Oratorios’ is a collection of
musical programmes, the music of which is also listed under ‘Vocal Works’
and ‘Instrumental Works’.
A Testimony’s Fire
A new piece
contemplating the glorious joy of receiving a testimony, has been added to
the vocal works catalogue, with sheet music
and generated audio of the parts. The song is scored for a soprano soloist
(of a fair range) and a piano―both parts are challenging, but worth
the effort when performed with expression, emotion and a spirit of
testimony.

I’ve wanted to
arrange the famous Christian hymn Nearer, My God, to Thee for a
while. This
arrangement is the result of my finally getting down to it.
The arrangement calls for an SATB choir, with a capable soprano descant
chorus (the descant reaches high G) and a piano.
